Cashew Chemists @ Urbanscapes 2014

Cashew Chemists

Hailing from Singapore, Cashew Chemists are four clean-cut youthful lads stamping their mark on the Singaporean and international indie music scene with their own brand of uncompromising rock and roll sound. These bunch of chemists certainly enchants with their unique alchemy concoction of intelligently crafted dreamy love songs and jazzy harmonies on top of an infectious jangling guitars and thumping drums sound.

Have a listen to Road Trip and their debut single, Common Equation , but be warned , these chemists may just cast their alchemy spell upon you πŸ˜‰ .

  1. The Cashew Chemists. A bit of a quirky name for a band. But has a good ring to it, very catchy. The Singapore music scene has certainly been picking up over the last few years, so encouraging to see. Wonderful photos, Ken. You make concert photo-shooting look effortless. Not grainy at all except the last one, but it’s probably the lights πŸ™‚

I went to Lindsey Stirling’s concert in Melbourne a few nights a go. I had a great spot – up front, standing at the barrier, dead centre. As for photo shooting, lots of duds πŸ˜€

    • yes, i couldn’t agree with you more, mabel. it sounds quirky to me too, but then that’s what got be interested to watch them in the first place – it works. wow! you had front seats to a lindsey sterling’s concert, you are one lucky gal πŸ˜‰ , must have been fantastic. try this next time round and see if it works for you, don’t chase after a shot all the time, at times, set the camera as how you want the shot to be, relax and wait for the moment to come to you.
      best regards,
      ken
