A Mother’s Love

A Mongrel Bitch Caring For Its Newly Born Litter

All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.

Abraham Lincoln

Came across this Mongrel bitch and its newly born litter of puppies resting peacefully in a hammock. Barely days old, they look so sweet and fragile, safe in the care of mother’s love and warmth. Someone was sensitive and kind enough, had the idea to move them there out of harm’s way from the holidaying crowd and kids, whose attention and enthusiasm to play with these cuties unsupervised would cause the bitch and its pack of litter anxious and stressful moments. It was a poignant and moving moment for us to witness this as a family.

    • thank you very much, sreejith.
it was dark, i needed illumination, and the most handy light source at the time was the LED light from Agnes’ phone. We diffused it with some tissue and positioned it for best effect. LED light was WB corrected in PP.
