the golden hour
the last vestige of day light
a golden moment of respite
to ponder nature’s beauty and might
and lament its sorrowful plight
at the hands of mankind ongoing blight

Since starting this KAP WordPress blog and getting to know some of you better through your posts, I am constantly inspired by the high standard of photography, prose and reflections from the likes of Dan Frugalberg, Amy Rose, Anarette, Elina, and many others. Therefore, in today’s post, I figured I will give it a try and see what I could come up with. It took me about 20 minutes to write the above stanza, I am no wordsmith, for sure, and it probably break the rule of thumb in prose writing, but I think the underlying message is evident, and thought i share it with you just the same for your comments.
